Website Redesign: Craft Office Systems

Craft Office Systems approached our team seeking a complete transformation of their ecommerce website. While their logo and brand colors had recently been updated, the existing site no longer aligned with their growth goals or target audience. They wanted a bold new direction that would attract a slightly younger, professional demographic while differentiating themselves in a saturated market.
Working under Timber Dark Design in a white label partnership with 9th Wonder, I led the full redesign of the website from the ground up.
Rather than following the standard visual language common across competitor sites, which leaned heavily into bright white interfaces and traditional layouts, I proposed a more modern, dark mode driven direction. We retained the brand’s core color palette with subtle refinements to create a more contemporary feel, while building a clean, intentional design system that felt elevated and forward thinking.
The goal was clarity without sterility. The interface needed to feel professional and trustworthy while still standing apart visually. Strategic use of contrast, hierarchy, and negative space allowed the site to feel confident and distinctive without overwhelming the user experience.
Beyond visual design, the project focused heavily on structure and ecommerce usability. Navigation was simplified, product categorization was clarified, and page layouts were optimized to support both browsing and conversion. Every design choice was made to balance aesthetics with functionality.
The result was a striking yet refined ecommerce platform that immediately differentiated Craft Office Systems from competitors. The client was so pleased with the new direction that they shared the website with another business acquaintance, who subsequently signed with 9th Wonder for their own website redesign.
That referral directly led to a full time employment offer. I transitioned from co owning Timber Dark Design to joining 9th Wonder, which later became Gravity Global, marking the next chapter of my professional career.
This project demonstrates not only design execution, but strategic thinking, market awareness, and the tangible business impact that thoughtful digital direction can create.
